Character is good sportsmanship. Character is academic
success and integrity. Character is holding yourself and others to a higher
standard. Character is doing the right thing. Delta Chi is character.
The character of a man is the greatest measure of his
potential. In Delta Chi, character is a core value and the cornerstone of
the Fraternity. Starting from the first day of membership, Delta Chi does
not have pledges. New members are referred to as associate members because
you are associated with Delta Chi and should be given the rights and
responsibilities as such.
During your undergraduate time in Delta Chi, there are
character development opportunities left and right. Whether it’s your
pre-initiation week, holding an executive of committee office, completing
the KEY Program,
participating in a Regional Leadership Conference, an International
Convention, the Senator Henry “Scoop” Jackson Leadership College, or simply
living the values of Delta Chi, being a man of character and making men the
best they can is the reason Delta Chi exists.
